The Training Officer is responsible for all training engagements within the Outdoor Warehouse Chain - training can range from products, administration, customer service and management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and coordinate training engagements.
Facilitate and present training initiatives (online & onsite).
Creating and maintaining online training content and practical assessments.
Conducting assessments on store teams.
Reporting on training engagements.
Responsible for the administration of the online training portal.
Serve as a product expert to store teams.
Key Requirements:
Matric or equivalent qualification (N3 or NQF4)
Valid Drivers' License (Vehicle)
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Emails, Word)
Familiar with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Excellent public speaking and group facilitation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills - and the ability to facilitate groups.
Minimum of 3-years' experience in retail training (presenting, creating & maintaining training content).
Minimum of 3-years' experience within an outdoor and leisure related retail environment.
Must have a strong understanding of retail, sales processes and customer service standards.
Ability to accurately assess store teams with regards to product, skills and customer service.
Must be comfortable traveling nationally to various store locations.
