Job Description

Mr Price Logistics is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Scientist Trainee to join our team. This 12-month program is designed to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in a data-driven environment.

Purpose & Objective:

Develop and implement data-driven decision-making models and provide insights through the application of machine learning, data mining and artificial intelligence methods.


The Objective is to develop a data scientist with expertise in supply chain and logistics, equipped to drive business growth through data-driven insights to improve business and operational efficiency, reduce costs, increase revenue in line with strategic objectives



Qualifications: Degree: Bachelor's or Relevant degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.

Technical skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL. Statistics and machine learning fundamentals

Data visualization: (Tableau, Power BI & Excel)

Data analysis: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Agile learner: Ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
