Trainee Accountant
Job Description
We are an Accounting firm in Durban, looking for Individuals working towards qualification and an Accountant with the South African Institute of Professional Accountants(SAIPA) or other accounting body. The individual must have the following,
1) Accounting Qualification.
2) Working Experience in an Accounting environment, will be beneficial.
3) Working Experience with Sage Pastel Accounting, will be beneficial.
4) Working Experience in General Accounting Processes, i.e. VAT,
processing and submission, Income Tax Computation, PAYE Processing and Submission, etc. will be beneficial.
5) Working Experience with Sage Pastel Payroll and general payroll experience, will be beneficial.
6) Working Experience in preparation of Working Paper File and Annual Financial Statements, beneficial.
7) An understanding of accounting principles and taxation.
8) Working Experience with Draftworx Working Paper File software and/or Caseware Working Paper File Software, beneficial.
9) Must be adaptive and have a problem solving mind.
10) Must be able to work towards deadlines, and meet targets.
11) Must have own Transport.
