Job Summary ? Trails Guide - Luxury Safari Lodge | North West ? Location: Luxury Safari Lodge - North West ? Role Type: Full-time, Live-in ? Package: R12,000 - R14,000 per month, negotiable depending on experience Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a skilled and passionate Trails Guide to join a luxury 5-star safari lodge in the North West. This role is perfect for individuals with experience in high-end hospitality ; a love for the bush, and a dedication to delivering exceptional guest experiences . Key Responsibilities: Lead guests on guided bush walks ; providing engaging commentary on wildlife, flora, and conservation Ensure guest safety while maintaining a relaxed and enjoyable experience Assist with daily lodge operations ; supporting the team to ensure smooth service Maintain trails and equipment to the highest standards of safety and presentation Deliver outstanding guest service ; anticipating and exceeding guest needs Share knowledge and enthusiasm for the environment; wildlife, and lodge activities Assist in the maintenance department when not guiding Requirements & Qualifications: FGASA Level 2 / NOF 4 (flexible for exceptional candidates) Proven experience as a Lead Trails Guide in a luxury lodge Valid PDP and First Aid certification DEAT registration for North West province Minimum 5 years' experience in a 5-star lodge environment Strong command of English for international guests Ethical; trustworthy, punctual, reliable, and highly presentable Own transport required Personal Attributes: Passionate about nature and guiding Confident; professional, and engaging with guests Team player willing to support operations beyond guiding What Is On Offer: Live-in accommodation (single, furnished) Meals and uniform provided Work cycle: 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off
