Live-in Role | Market-related salary | Immediate / Negotiable start Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an exceptional FGASA Field Guide with Lead Trails qualification highly preferred for a luxury 5-star safari lodge in the Greater Kruger area. This role is ideal for a passionate, professional guide who excels at storytelling, guest engagement, and delivering immersive, high-end safari experiences. The successful candidate must have a deep love for the bush, strong interpretive skills, and the ability to connect guests meaningfully to wildlife, nature, and conservation. Key Responsibilities o Conduct guided game drives and interpretive walks (trails where qualified) to the highest 5-star standards o Deliver engaging, informative, and inspiring safari experiences through exceptional storytelling o Host and interact confidently with international guests, adapting communication style to suit different audiences o Ensure guest safety, comfort, and satisfaction at all times o Maintain professional vehicle standards, equipment care, and guiding compliance o Assist with lodge operations and guest activities where required o Represent the lodge brand with professionalism, warmth, and integrity Requirements o FGASA NQF2 qualification essential, NQF4 preferred o Lead Trails qualification highly preferred (but open to Apprentice Trails candidates) o Valid First Aid, PrDP, and rifle proficiency o At least 2 years of proven experience in a luxury 5-star safari lodge environment o Strong communication skills with excellent spoken English o Confident storyteller with the ability to engage, educate, and inspire guests o Computer literate and comfortable with basic admin, reporting, and lodge systems o Professional appearance, strong work ethic, and guest-centric mindset Package o Market-related salary, dependent on experience and qualifications o Live-in accommodation o Opportunity to work in a high-end Greater Kruger guiding environment with discerning guests To Apply Please submit your CV, copies of relevant qualifications, contactable references, and a recent head and shoulders photograph ASAP. ?
