Job Description

Hire Resolve's client is looking for a highly skilled Traffic & Transportation Engineer to join their team in Cape Town, Western Cape.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct traffic impact assessments to evaluate the impact of new developments on existing transportation infrastructure.
• Develop and implement traffic management plans to ensure the safe movement of vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists.
• Design and optimize traffic signal timings and signal coordination plans.
• Analyze traffic data and propose improvements to enhance traffic flow and reduce congestion.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and design transportation infrastructure projects.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
• Keep up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in traffic and transportation engineering.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional registration Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in traffic and transportation engineering.
• Proficiency in traffic engineering software, such as AutoCad or Sidra
• Modelling experience (Vissim/Visum)
