We are looking to recruit a Reconciliation Clerk (Finance) to work within the Accounts Payable department. The role will be based at Clicks Head Office in Cape Town and will report to the Supervisor (Finance).
Job description
Purpose and Objectives:
To reconcile accounts on a monthly basis using SAP and Excel.
To liaise with suppliers, stores, internal stakeholders and management.
To minimize losses/risk to the company.
To alert the business to any irregularities.
To complete daily filing of accounts and other administrative related issues.
To pay the account(s) according to the due dates.
Preparation of documentation to provide support for audit purposes
Completing User Acceptance Testing of any testing to projects directly impacting the area
Resolution of queries within KPA deadlines
Completion of all weekly and monthly reports
Minimum requirements
Education and Experience:
Matric / Grade 12 (essential)
Matric level accountancy
Relevant tertiary qualification such as B.Com, Btech or certificate in advanced Bookkeeping (an advantage)
Strong PC literacy (Microsoft Excel, Outlook)
2 to 3 years' experience in a similar environment
SAP experience(essential)

Strong attention to detail
PC literacy (Microsoft Excel, Outlook) essential.

Ability to liaise with and communicate at all levels
