Our client in the Grain and Oilseed Milling industry is currently looking for a Tracker, in Industria West, Johannesburg.
Responsibilities:

• Direct and co-ordinate vehicle allocation and scheduling
• Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy
• Ensure that company vehicles are allocated.
• Keeping records of which vehicles/trucks were booked out to which drivers
• Keeping records of all trip sheets of vehicles/trucks/trailers.
• Report any negligent use of company vehicles/trucks.
• Monitor and track vehicles/trucks/trailers by means of a telematic system (Webfleet and Car track)
• Ensure that company vehicles/trucks/trailers are adhering to the speed limits.
• Keep track and record of Fuel consumption/usage for vehicles/trucks.
• Keep track of Drivers' trip costs (Long Haul)
• Inform the HR department of any fines received by drivers because of speeding or due to drivers' negligence.
• Assist with the dispatching of trucks.
• Assist the Logistics manager with other duties that may be required.

• Matric (Grade 12) is essential.
• 2 - 3 years' experience in a similar Vehicle Tracking/Logistics coordination role.
• Experience using telematics systems such as Web fleet and Car track is a must.
• Prior experience in fuel monitoring, trip sheet management, and vehicle dispatch is beneficial.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel for data capturing and reporting; able to analyse trip, speed, and fuel data.
• Attention to Detail: Strong record-keeping and accuracy in tracking and reporting.
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to identify and flag issues from tracking data.
• Capable of working in a high-paced, dynamic environment independently.
• Shift Flexibility: Willing to work night or rotational shifts as required.

• R10 000 - R15 000 per month.
