This position has a direct report into the Store Manager and will suit an individual with an extroverted personality.
Key deliverables:
Demonstrate mature leadership skills to assist with the training and development one of our most important resources - our people.
Build and develop the team to maintain excellent levels of customer service supported by great product knowledge.
Drive a consistent customer centric culture within the store.
Assist with the management of the day-to-day store operations.
Opening and closing of the store when required.
Cash-handling, banking, and store administration.
Receiving, merchandising, and replenishing of stock.
Maintaining the visual appeal of the store
OHASA
Qualifications and Core Competencies:
Matric certificate
Tertiary qualification (advantageous)
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
Proven track record of managing large teams of 8+
Strong Leadership abilities - giving recognition, support, direction, and guidance, communicating, and interacting, service orientation.
Experience in dealing with Employee Relations (ER)
Management abilities - Planning, Organising and Control; Problem solving, decision making & analysing.
Strong business acumen and numeric ability
Excellent communication skills
