Job Title: Regional Guide

Location: Various locations within assigned region

Job Type: Full-time, seasonal

Overview:

As a regional guide, you will be responsible for leading guided tours and excursions within a specific region to provide guests with an informative and memorable experience. You will be expected to have a deep knowledge of the region's history, culture, attractions, and wildlife, and be able to effectively communicate this information to guests.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead guided tours and excursions within the assigned region, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for guests.
2. Provide informative commentary and historical background on the region's landmarks, attractions, and points of interest.
3. Ensure all guests are accounted for and adhere to safety guidelines throughout the tour.
4. Answer guests' questions and provide recommendations for additional activities or attractions in the region.
5. Maintain a professional and enthusiastic attitude at all times, engaging guests and providing excellent customer service.
6. Assist with logistical arrangements, including transportation, accommodations, and meals for guests as needed.
7. Keep up-to-date on local events, festivals, and activities to enhance guests' experience.
8. Collaborate with other guides, staff, and management to improve tour offerings and guest satisfaction.
9. Maintain a clean and organized tour vehicle or equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly.
10. Attend regular training sessions and meetings to enhance knowledge of the region and improve guiding skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Temp to perm

Pay: R1500,00 - R3000,00 per day
