Job Description
Well established company on the East Rand seeks a Junior Toolmaker
Minimum Requirements
Recently qualified Toolmaker or Tool, Jig and Die Maker
Must reside on the East Rand
Experience on CNC machines advantageous
Duties will include
- Assisting in tool fabrication and repair
- Reading and following technical drawings
- Operating and maintaining manual and CNC machinery
- Setting up CNC machines and loading programs under supervision
- Monitoring CNC operations and performing basic troubleshooting
- Measuring and inspecting components for accuracy
- Learning toolmaking and CNC techniques through training
- Keeping the workspace clean and organized
- Following all health and safety procedures
