Job Description
Job Summary Requirements:
- Qualified Tool, Jig & Die Maker.
- 5 + years' experience in toolmaking.
- Experience in plastic injection moulding and / or press tooling/stamping.
- Strong knowledge of tool design and manufacturing.
- Proficient in CAD/CAM software.
- Familiarity with CNC machines.
- Conventional Lathe Turning experience.
- Design and manufacture tools, jigs, and dies.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Select materials and determine manufacturing methods.
- Modify and repair existing tools, jigs, and dies.
- Troubleshoot tooling issues.
- Construct and repair dies for plastic injection molding and pressings.
- Ensure die accuracy and precision.
- Design and manufacture jigs and fixtures.
- Ensure jig and fixture accuracy.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams.
- Maintain toolroom safety and organization.
- Update tooling records.
