Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive TM1 Consultant to join our team and support our clients in delivering high-quality financial planning, forecasting, and reporting solutions using IBM Planning Analytics (TM1). The ideal candidate will have a balanced blend of functional finance knowledge and technical TM1 expertise, along with strong consulting and communication skills.
Skills and Experience
What you'll do:

  • Engage with clients to gather and understand business requirements related to budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Design and implement TM1 models and solutions that align with client needs
  • Build and maintain TM1/Planning Analytics cubes, dimensions, rules, and TurboIntegrator processes
  • Develop Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) dashboards and Planning Analytics for Excel reports
  • Facilitate workshops, training, and user adoption sessions for client teams
  • Provide post-implementation support, system enhancements, and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, IT, and BI
  • Prepare clear documentation, including technical specs and user guide
  • Stay updated on Planning Analytics developments and best practices
Your expertise:
  • 3-5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1)
  • Strong expertise in TM1 Rules, TI Processes, Cube Design, and Dimensions
  • Experience with PAW and PAfE
  • Solid understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
  • Proven experience working in client-facing or consulting roles
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
Nice to have:
  • IBM TM1 / Planning Analytics certification
  • Knowledge of SQL and data integration
  • Experience with Power BI, Cognos, or other BI tools
  • Exposure to cloud-based TM1 environments
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
