Job Description

TLC Head Office has an opportunity for a Junior Merchandiser Planner .To accurately execute and maintain The Local Choice merchandising standards by ensuring the merchandising standards are in accordance with TLC Pharmacy policies and procedures.
Essential:

  • Grade 12 -Matric
  • Minimum 0 - 6 months retail work
Advantage:
  • Diploma in Retail, Consumer Science relevant qualification
  • 1Year work experience
Roles & Responsibilities:
Merchandising Planning:
Assist in the execution of the corporate planogram plan for TLC while addressing, store stock levels, space gains and ease of execution for resetting the stores.
Ensure front shop shelves and products are neatly presented and visible at all times.
Ensure labels and pricing must be correct at all times.
Identify and report all price discrepancies to management.
Ensure merchandising displays are built, faced up, stocked and maintained according to The Local Choice procedures.
Identify merchandise space planning business challenge and report to the Senior Planner.
Ensure items without barcodes are clearly marked.
Handle all merchandise carefully to prevent any losses.
Customer Liaison:
Provide friendly, helpful and courteous assistance and advice to The Local Choice Franchisee.
Assist with the training of new and current team members.
Partner with internal teams such as operations, marketing for all projects when required
General:
Adhere to Dis-Chem Policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
Adhere to Health and Safety rules and regulations.
