At least 2-3 years-experience in an administrative role
Previous experience in timetable coordination within Higher Education will be advantageous
Minimum Requirements:
Relevant tertiary qualification (minimum NQF Level 7) (IT or Commerce)
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain module, lecturer, student and campus venue data on timetable system
Produce / compile system generated timetabling reports
Resolve lecturer change requests
Resolve timetabling case management issues (students)
Provide 1st level scheduling system support to staff and students
Functional and Behavioural Competencies
Functional Competencies
Skilled in using databases and managing data
Knowledge of timetabling systems
Basic understanding of databases
Proficient in MS Office suite
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets working successfully in a task driven and results focused environment.
Excellent IT skills and a strong understanding of the IT/Business systems would be an advantage
Behavioural Competencies
Action orientation (Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team without close supervision)
Collaborative relations and teamwork
Effective communication - writing skills and communication skills
Analysing and problem solving
