Test Manager

A Test Manager is responsible for developing and implementing testing strategies, managing test plans,

and coordinating testing activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing

methodologies, leadership skills, and excellent communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement testing strategies, test plans, and test cases
• Lead a team of testers to ensure efficient and effective testing processes
• Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Coordinate testing activities with cross-functional teams, including development, project management, and business stakeholders
• Identify and track software defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of product requirements and business processes
• Manage test environments and ensure they are maintained and available for testing activities
• Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures
• Monitor and report on testing progress, test coverage, and defect trends
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to testing team members
• Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software testing

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, including 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience with testing methodologies, test management tools, and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Experience with test management tools, such as HP ALM, JIRA, or Quality Center.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as SOX, GDPR, and HIPAA
