SUMMARY:
Test Engineer - Product Engineering
POSITION INFO:

An innovative automotive engineering company is seeking a Test Engineer to join its Product Engineering division on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in mechanical or automotive engineering with a strong understanding of engines and powertrain systems. This role involves planning and executing component and system-level tests according to group standards, and supporting cross-functional teams through technical problem-solving and precise reporting. hr data-start="888" data-end="891" />
Key Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate testing activities, including facility modifications required for release testing of components.
Prepare components and/or assemblies in accordance with test specifications, measurement checklists, and group standards to ensure test readiness and result validity.
Set up test facilities and manage test operations, logs, and recordings in alignment with test schedules, safety practices, and corporate testing standards.
Provide technical support to test technicians and mechanics throughout test execution by troubleshooting, diagnosing issues, and ensuring all criteria are met.
Maintain clear communication with supervisors and management, providing regular updates on test progress and results to support efficient test operation and milestone adherence.
Qualifications & Experience
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Minimum 4 years).
Solid understanding of Engines and Powertrain Systems.
Prior experience in a test laboratory or engine testing environment is advantageous.
