Purpose of the Position

Ensure the quality and reliability of business-critical systems by performing thorough software testing, with a focus on short-term insurance processes, service provider platforms, and third-party integrations, within a fast-paced Agile/SCRUM development environment.

Responsibilities

Analyse business requirements and user stories to design comprehensive test plans and test cases Execute functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing across multiple systems and platforms Validate third-party integrations and service provider interfaces to ensure seamless data exchange and system interoperability Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners in Agile ceremonies and sprint cycles Identify, document, and track defects using standard tools and methodologies Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes and automation strategies Support release and deployment activities, including post-implementation verification

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance Proven experience within the short-term insurance industry Solid understanding of insurance workflows and business processes Hands-on experience in Agile/SCRUM environments Proficiency with testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, SQL, and Azure DevOps ISTQB Certification (Foundation or higher) Relevant IT degree or diploma
