They are seeking a Test Analyst to join their innovative team, focusing on testing payment applications and supporting software to ensure high-quality deliverables for internal and external customers.
In this role, you will analyze system requirements to prioritize test conditions, design and execute both manual and automated test scripts, and ensure compliance with industry standards. You will collaborate with developers to enhance development practices, manage test environments, and maintain technical documentation. The role includes verifying fixes, conducting defect trend analysis, and facilitating smooth handovers from QA to operations. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of testing strategies and processes, ensuring alignment with sprint goals and contractual obligations.
This position offers a hybrid work model, combining remote flexibility with on-site collaboration in South Africa. Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3 years experience in a test/QA role, ideally in payment systems or financial services
Proficiency in designing, building, and executing manual and automated test scripts
Experience analyzing requirements to develop test cases and strategies
Familiarity with load testing and ensuring compliance with industry protocols.
Strong skills in defect tracking, fix verification, and impact analysis
Ability to manage test environments and maintain technical documentation
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and sprint-based delivery
Understanding of security standards in the payments industry is a plus
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complexity and make timely decisions
Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams
Qualification:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent prior learning
Certified Test Analyst or equivalent certification preferred
