Manage and oversee Nestle ESAR's PR efforts across the Brands and Corporate Brand and execute the PR strategy for the region.
A day in the life of the Temp Head of Public Relations:
Develop overarching PR strategy for both corporate and brand plans focused on developing a strong ESAR narrative for SA and coach and support key strategic brand teams in market in ESAR (ZIM, Kenya, Moz, Ethiopia, Mauritius)
Establish and manage key agency relationships, training, coaching and strong ways of working to ensure delivery of all corporate and brand plans based on best-in-class proprietary knowledge
Bring to life brand activities originated from strong campaign ideas to engage consumers when and where they are most receptive to our key messages to drive strong positive sentiment, talkability and virality of ideas
Become a credible, visible and trusted voice for Nestle ESAR in the PR space in the food and beverage ecosystem.
Communicates, inspires, coaches and leads PR through marketing & CCPA teams to influence stakeholders to go beyond the ordinary/average to deliver fantastic talkability for our key strategic activities
Coach and Monitor deliverables of team members and provide regular project status feedback to project team
Take ownership and accountability for execution of full plans led through PR cross functional teams including CCPA, brand and CCME.
Manages regular performance reviews for agencies and activities to ensure we win in excellent execution and learnings to optimise plans into the future.
Maintain all records in a safe manner and easy accessibility for future enquiries- drives compliance in ways of working.
Maintain relationships with corporate partners identifying PR opportunities through existing programmes and potential PR opportunities.
What will make you successful
Degree level education or equivalent
8-10 years' experience in Events & PR Management & Project Management
Excellent Project Management
Strong Networking Skills and experience
Strong presentation skills
