Telesales Manager Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Telesales Manager to lead our telephone sales team and drive revenue growth through effective outbound and inbound sales strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of telesales representatives, developing sales processes, and ensuring targets are consistently met or exceeded.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Management
Recruit, train, and manage a team of telesales representatives
Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular performance reviews
Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities
Create and maintain a positive, motivating team environment
Schedule and conduct regular team meetings and training sessions
Sales Strategy & Operations
Develop and implement comprehensive telesales strategies to achieve revenue targets
Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth
Create and refine sales scripts, processes, and best practices
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team
Collaborate with marketing teams to optimize lead generation and conversion
Performance Management
Set individual and team sales targets and monitor progress against goals
Analyze call metrics, conversion rates, and sales performance data
Implement corrective actions when performance standards are not met
Recognize and reward high-performing team members
Prepare detailed sales reports for senior management
Customer Relationship Management
Ensure high standards of customer service and satisfaction
Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints
Oversee the maintenance of accurate customer databases and CRM systems
Develop strategies to improve customer retention and repeat business
Administrative Duties
Manage departmental budget and resources effectively
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies
Coordinate with other departments including customer service, logistics, and finance
Stay updated on product knowledge and industry developments
Required QualificationsEducation & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
Minimum 3-5 years of telesales experience with at least 2 years in a management role
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools
