Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys engaging with customers, has a passion for safety products, and thrives in a target-driven environment. You'll be responsible for handling customer enquiries, providing expert advice on our product range, and converting calls into successful sales.

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):



Assist clients with orders telephonically. Draft quotes for clients upon request. Convert quotes into confirmed orders. Handle customer queries regarding stock and deliveries. Draft and print picking slips for orders received telephonically or from sales reps. Ensure picking slips are returned and stock availability is confirmed before issuing delivery notes/invoices. Verify that returned picking slips are signed before issuing delivery notes. Check stock availability prior to issuing picking slips. Notify sales reps and clients of any out-of-stock items and their expected arrival. Maintain professionalism and respect when dealing with customers. Consistently deliver excellent customer service, internally and externally. Assist with stock take preparation and physical counts when required. Provide support at counter sales when needed. Respond to incoming calls and emails regarding our PPE range Understand customer needs and recommend tailored PPE solutions. Process orders accurately and efficiently using internal systems. Build rapport with customers to encourage repeat business. Stay informed on the latest products, stock levels, and promotions. Meet daily and monthly sales targets and KPIs.

Ideal Candidate Profile:



Confident and customer-focused with a professional telephone manner. Knowledge of PPE products or a willingness to learn. Organised, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced sales environment. Previous experience in customer service, retail, or telesales is an advantage.

Minimum Requirements:



Grade 12 / Matric (Essential) 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in Retail/FMCG Excellent communication skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to perform under pressure in a high-paced environment Computer literacy, especially in MS Office Ability to manage workload, prioritize, and meet deadlines Strong initiative and problem-solving skills High level of personal ethics and accountability
