Role Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a solid academic foundation:

• a National Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or a Bachelor of Health Science in Medical Laboratory Sciences.
• Registration with the HPCSA as a Technologist in an approved discipline is essential.

These qualifications ensure you are equipped to meet the high standards of care and accuracy we uphold at Ampath. We are looking for someone who brings hands-on technical experience from a pathology laboratory environment. Your familiarity with laboratory protocols and diagnostic workflows will allow you to hit the ground running and contribute meaningfully from day one.
Skills Requirements
Success in this role requires more than technical know-how. You will need strong communication skills in both English and Afrikaans to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients. Your ability to perform basic numerical calculations and use computer systems efficiently will support your day-to-day responsibilities.
