As a Technologist in our Microbiology Laboratory, you play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of specimen processing across all benches. Role Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, you must hold:

  • a National Diploma in Medical Technology or a BHSc in Medical Laboratory Science
  • HPCSA registration as a Medical Technologist in Microbiology.
These qualifications ensure you are equipped with the foundational knowledge and professional standing to contribute meaningfully to our laboratory excellence. You bring with you at least 18 months of experiential learning in a Microbiology medical laboratory, which has prepared you to navigate the complexities of specimen handling, analysis, and reporting. This experience enables you to step confidently into a role where precision, and accountability are celebrated.
Skills Requirements
Success in this role calls for a blend of technical and interpersonal strengths. You are comfortable using computer systems to manage laboratory data, and you communicate fluently in both English and Afrikaans, ensuring clarity and professionalism in every interaction. Your ability to perform basic numerical calculations supports your analytical work, while your attention to detail and collaborative spirit make you a valued team member.
