Technician/Engineer

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and solutions-oriented Technician/Engineer to join their team in Sandton, Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be tasked with delivering technical support, resolving issues, optimising processes and reducing operational errors. This position demands a proactive individual with excellent problem-solving skills who can handle diverse technical responsibilities across the organisation. The successful candidate needs to come with 3 years hands - on practical experience.

Minimum Requirements:

Matric. Relevant tertiary qualification. Vehicle and valid Driver's License. Background in Electrical or Engineering disciplines. At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a technical role. IT knowledge or experience is a plus. Strong project management skills are highly desirable. Ability to quickly adapt and assist with various technical tasks across departments. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. Self-driven with the capability to work independently and collaboratively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Address technical challenges and provide practical, effective solutions. Enhance process efficiency and minimise errors through streamlining efforts. Support various departments and projects requiring technical expertise. Diagnose and fix hardware, software or system-related issues. Participate in project planning and execution as needed.
