Technician
Our client in the Agriculture Industry is seeking a Technician to join their team.
Job Location: Queenstown
Job Type: Permanent
Duties and Responsibilities:

Install, test, and maintain milking machines and related dairy equipment, ensuring they are functioning at optimal levels.
Diagnose and repair malfunctions or issues with machines, pumps, pipelines, and other dairy equipment.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machines and other machinery to identify and resolve any potential issues before they impact operations.
Quickly respond to malfunctions or breakdowns to minimize downtime, using troubleshooting skills to find the cause and implement effective solutions.
Provide training and support to staff on the proper use and maintenance of dairy equipment.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections

Minimum Requirements:

Certification in Electrical Mechanical Maintenance, Agricultural Technology, or a related field will be beneficial.
Trade Tested: Mechanical/Electrical
Previous experience working in dairy will be beneficial
Farming history/culture would be a good fit
Proven experience as a Dairy Machine Technician or in a similar technical role (e.g., Electrical or Mechanical equipment technician) will be beneficial
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
A valid driver's license
