Job Description
Seeking qualified and experienced
Technicians
to support oursupply and refurbishment of different types of gearboxes
used in industrial and heavy mechanical environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of gearbox systems, precision repair, and diagnostic procedures.Minimum Requirements:
Qualification:
N6 Technical Diploma or S4 in Mechanical or Electrical EngineeringExperience:
Minimum3 years' relevant experience
in gearbox inspection, refurbishment, or maintenance within heavy industrial or power plant environments Strong understanding of mechanical components, tolerances, and drive systems Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Familiar with safety, quality control, and engineering standardsKey Responsibilities:
Diagnose faults, disassemble, inspect, and repair different gearbox types Perform precision alignment and balancing of mechanical components Conduct performance testing, recording data, and preparing technical reports Supervise and guide artisans and assistants where required Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during all stages of refurbishment Liaise with engineers, clients, and workshop teams to ensure timely completion of work

Remuneration:
Salary Range:
R250,000 - R380,000 per annum (based on qualifications and experience)Job Type: Full-time
