JOB SUMMARY:

To carry out tier 1 maintenance and installations of all technical related equipment and servicing thereof

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Technical management Incident desk maintenance Ticket management Be accountable for materials used for maintenance and installation work Keep records of work carried out on a daily basis Installation of electronic services provided by the business Maintenance of electronic services Resilient character and ability to work with all levels of staff RVS (remote video surveillance) CCTV systems (IP) namely Hikvision Access Control systems namely Gallagher, Galaxy alarm Hikvision/Gate automation/Electric fence/Alarm systems/Vision Servicing of electronic devices as required Ensure all functions, duties or tasks are to be carried out in an honest, ethical and professional manner, and to be performed in conformance with applicable company policies and procedures. In the event of uncertainty or lack of knowledge of company policies and procedures, employees are required to request clarification or explanations from superiors or authorized company representative.

Education/Experience

Matric / Grade 12 PSIRA Grade A / B & Registered, non-negotiable IT related certification in most programming languages At least 5 years' experience in a technical role of a similar nature. High proficiency in MS Office. Welding Splicing Competencies (as demonstrated through experience, training, and/or testing): Highly motivated, energetic, self-directed individual with analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances. Strong customer service orientation. Excellent interpersonal skills Meticulous Problem Solver Team player Excellent verbal & written communication skills Attention to detail High level of confidentiality Ability to work well under pressure
