What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it) You'll be responsible for servicing and maintaining refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment, installing compressors, commissioning systems, troubleshooting on-site, and performing control programming. Your work will include reading PI diagrams, wiring installations, and conducting failure analysis to recommend solutions. As a senior technician, you'll also supervise and mentor junior team members, assign work schedules, evaluate performance, and provide product training. You'll ensure all administrative documentation is accurately completed and uphold health and safety standards while delivering top-notch customer service.

What you'll need A minimum N6 qualification or Trade Test in refrigeration, along with a Category B (08) certification as per SAQCC. At least 3-5 years of experience in industrial refrigeration, with broad technical knowledge in electrical, control, and mechanical systems. Experience with ammonia systems and team leadership within a refrigeration environment is highly beneficial. Strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to read and interpret schematics, and proficiency in MS Office will set you apart.
