to join our technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and inspection of fire detection and suppression systems in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and service fire detection and suppression systems.
Conduct system inspections and testing according to SAQCC Fire regulations.
Diagnose and repair system faults and ensure proper functionality.
Prepare service reports and maintain accurate maintenance records.
Ensure all work complies with SANS and other applicable fire safety standards.
Assist with system commissioning and client handovers.
Minimum Requirements:
N4 Certificate in Mechanical Engineering
(or higher).
Valid SAQCC Fire registration
(Detection and/or Gas).
Minimum of
2-3 years' experience
in fire system installation or maintenance.
Sound knowledge of fire detection systems, gas suppression systems, and related equipment.
Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to sites.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Advantages:
Experience with fault finding on electronic fire panels.
Knowledge of SANS 10139 and 369 standards.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
