DEPARTMENT OF VISUAL & COMMUNICATION DESIGN
TECHNICIAN: GRAPHIC DESIGN PROGRAMME (REF: FA06)Minimum Requirements:

• A Bachelors Degree (NQF 7) in disciplines of Information & Communications Technology, Advanced Diploma in Information and Communications Technology, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or a Bachelor of Computer Science.
• At least 2 years experience working in a computer laboratory environment

Summary of Duties:

• Optimise service delivery: ensuring that the Graphic Design programme environment and computing infrastructure operates in the most effective and efficient manner possible
• Enable staff productivity through IT
• Enable student productivity through IT
• integration of DUT VCD GD Internal IT Systems
• Provide customer advice and support
• Perform aspects of Supply Chain Management for the programme
• Undertake duties as assigned by the HOD/Programme Coordinator and academic staff in charge of laboratories.
