Requirements
Relevant three-year tertiary qualification in Geomatics
Minimum of two (2) years' relevant experience in a Geomatics
environment
The incumbent needs to be reasonably fit to be able to carry
out strenuous field work, in all weather conditions, if required
Valid Code B driver's licence.
Key Performance Areas
Support departments with Geomatics Survey operations in
compliance with the Land Survey Act
Responsible for the provision of Topographic and
Engineering Surveys
Responsible for Town Survey Mark (TSM) maintenance
Supervise Senior Technical Assistants during construction
of TSMs
Responsible for precise levelling
Responsible for the provision of pre-marking and control
surveys for mapping projects
Provide a consultancy service to internal clients.
