. In this role, you'll assist customers with both hardware and software issues, troubleshoot system problems, and help ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-line technical support via phone, email, or remote tools
Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and software issues
Escalate complex issues to Tier 2/3 teams or vendors when needed
Maintain accurate logs and documentation of support cases
Assist with device installations, software updates, and configuration
Perform basic network and connectivity troubleshooting
Educate end-users on system use and IT best practices
Ensure prompt follow-up and high customer satisfaction
Requirements
Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
1-2 years of experience in a similar IT or support role (preferred but not essential)* Basic knowledge of:
Windows operating systems
Microsoft Office (especially Excel & Word)
Networking basics and internet protocols
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Willingness to learn and grow within the role
Valid driver's license (preferred but not essential)*
