Roles & Responsibilities LABOUR Skills Matrix, Training & Assessment Plans (Setters and Operators): Maintain a skills matrix for setters and operators to identify training needs and strengths. Develop and implement training plans and assessment strategies to enhance skills. Certify Timesheets: Review and approve timesheets to ensure accurate recording of work hours for team members. Conduct Performance Reviews of Setters and Operators: Evaluate the performance of setters and operators. Provide constructive feedback and support their professional development. Handling of Disciplinary in accordance with company policy: Address disciplinary issues within the team in accordance with company policies. Implement corrective actions while ensuring fairness. MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT Ensure Machine Readiness/Condition up to standards: Ensure machines and equipment are well-maintained and in proper working condition. Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime. Consistently Hitting Low Machine Waste, DT, and Setup Targets: Monitor and manage machine waste, downtime, and setup times. Implement strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce waste. Support Operations with technical advice & troubleshooting: Provide technical expertise to operators and production teams. Troubleshoot issues related to machines and equipment. Monitor trending issues and develop improvement solutions: Identify recurring technical problems and develop solutions to address them. Implement improvements to prevent issues from recurring. Monitor and report machine/equipment performance, maintenance needs, and employee performance: Regularly assess machine and equipment performance, providing reports to management. Report maintenance needs and ensure timely maintenance activities. Hands-on technical solution implementation/installation (trials): Lead hands-on trials for new technical solutions or equipment installations. Ensure successful implementation and provide necessary training. PROCESSORS & COMPLIANCE Review Work Orders, Checklist, and other Production Docs: Review and ensure that work is performed according to established requirements and standards. Coordinating with other supervisors: Collaborate with other supervisors to ensure seamless operations and coordination. Team adheres to Safety Procedure on and around machines: Ensure that safety procedures are followed by the team when working with machines. Promote a safe working environment and enforce safety protocols. Adhere to Quality Standards: Ensure that production processes align with quality standards and requirements. Maintain product quality and integrity. Develop technical training programs: Create and implement technical training programs for operators and other team members. Ensure that the team is equipped with the necessary technical skills.
