KPA/ Key outputs:
Interpretation of Acts, Standards and Regulations.
Develop and Amend Compulsory Specifications and Technical Regulations.

Conduct Regulatory Research and Benchmarking Projects.
Provide Input into the Development and Review of Divisional and NRCS Corporate.
Policies, Procedures, Strategies and Approvals.
Represent the NRCS at Local, Regional, International Forums and standard Committees.

Requirements/ Experience:
Bachelor's Degree (NQF 7) or equivalent in engineering/ science field (Mechanical, Metallurgical, Automotive
or related. 8 years in a regulatory and/or technical environment or equivalent.
Knowledge & Skills:
Very good knowledge of the NRCS Act.
Very good knowledge of the National Road traffic Act and Regulations.
General awareness of the Trade Metrology act.
Understanding and knowledge of the compulsory specifications
for motor vehicles. Management skills.
Working knowledge of risk management.
Presentation skills.
Project management skills.
Budgeting principles.
Good knowledge of the inspection and testing methodology; and Quality management
principles.
