Your mission will be to:1. Win new business from existing and new clients by selling all services proportionally as per revenue targets*. Performance will be evaluated monthly by measuring monthly sales closed, targets reached, conversion rates, and pipelines created (clients contacted and quotes sent, etc.).
2. Increase sales throughout the given area, implementing the strategy for growth and for the evolution of the business in the territory whilst continually reviewing and expanding the network to support the customer's needs and actively take market share from the competitors.
3. Actively increase Merieux NutriSciences's client base through sales activities and in particular cold calling, and conversion of new trade leads. Number of cold calls and conversion of leads will be measured monthly.
4. Develop and maintain professional selling skills and technical service expertise with available training on company services, emerging technologies, industry trends and regulatory requirements. Provide information to clients to create and maintain professional image as technical leaders in the industry.
5. Write and present professional business proposals and quotations. Follow up all business proposals and quotations within 48 hours after issue.6. Work closely with Customer Services staff to identify and pursue opportunities for business growth, and on transfer of accounts sold and closed, for further maintenance by relevant Customer Services personnel.
7. Work directly with other Sales personnel to develop and implement key National or multiple services accounts.
8. Create and manage a customer value plan for new clients, highlighting their company profile and value opportunities.
9. Successfully negotiate company price increases with clients and ensure client retention and growth.
10. Maintain client files within Salesforce (or any other CRM system provided), meeting reports, documenting leads, conversions, opportunities and any customer related information.
11. Establish strong relationships with clients at various levels, with key business and technical contacts.
12. Maintain knowledge of all Merieux NutriSciences IT systems, including Salesforce, LIMS and any other database used, and stay up-to-date on all presentations and sales tools.
13. Maintain information on competitors' strengths, weaknesses, policies, pricing, services, etc., to increase likelihood of winning bid situations.
14. Gather market and customer information and provide feedback on future buying trends.
15. Participate in regular sales conference calls, trade shows and conventions as applicable.
16. Provide the Sales Manager with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and potential for new business.
17. In consultation with Sales Manager, plan and implement promotions introducing new products to customers.
18. Plan and organize a personal sales strategy by maximizing the return on time invested in the area/territory/segment.
19. Coordinate sales efforts and client potential business with the Regional Sales Manager, who will liaise with the relevant Department Managers/Branch Manager.
20. Develop and maintain personal technical expertise relating to product safety and quality programs, and of all Merieux NutriSciences's services.21. Utilize communication tools including telephone calls, emails, and cold calls and customer visits, to manage and grow account base, sales activities and develop client relationships.
22. Support corporate quality and continuous improvement process.
23. Assist in the growth of both the internal and subcontracted market for aflatoxin testing.
24. Grow the subcontracting business (water chemistry, pesticides, allergens) in all customers and areas our business.
25. Continue to grow our presence and expertise for Legionella Risk Assessments, Testing and training and water testing (chemistry & micro).
26. Continue to grow the chemistry market for food testing in line with the budget requirements.
27. Grow the microbiological testing budget in-house with the requirement of the budget for the applicable financial year
