Description: Our client is currently looking for a Technical Sales Specialist to be tasked with expanding their market presence within Africa.
The candidate will be responsible for managing sales activities, building, and nurturing relationships with clients, achieving sales targets, and contributing to their commercial strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional customer service.
- Identifying new sales opportunities and converting those opportunities into sales throughout Africa.
- Providing technical support to customers, including product recommendations and problem-solving.
- Developing and executing sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Conducting product presentations and product demonstrations to customers as needed.
- Creating and delivering sales proposals and conducting sales negotiations.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales forecasts.
- 10+ years' experience in sales within the technical coating environment
- NACE certification
- Willingness to travel into Africa
- Self-starter with a strong commercial mindset
- Permanent position
