Job Description
Job Summary A well-established agricultural solutions provider is seeking a Technical Sales Representative with proven experience in agricultural sales to drive uptake of cutting-edge, UK-developed patented fertilizers across Southern Africa. This is a hybrid role ideal for a self-motivated individual who understands the local agricultural landscape and knows how to build trust in the field.
Non-Negotiable Requirements
- Minimum 2-5 years proven sales experience within the agricultural industry
- Located in Gauteng or surrounding regions
- Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle
- Ability to travel locally for client meetings and field visits
- Comfortable working independently in a hybrid/remote setup
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Deep understanding of farming systems, crop nutrition, or plant health
- Track record of managing agri-dealer and farmer relationships
- Technical sales experience with agri-inputs (e.g., fertilizers, seed, crop protection)
- Skilled in delivering value-driven product presentations and demos
- Ability to provide basic technical support and agronomic advice
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related field is beneficial
- Target-driven with a solutions-oriented mindset
