Job Description

A 1 Year Fixed Term Contract Technical Sales Representative position has become available in the Paper Technologies Division.

Qualifications:

A Degree or National Diploma or equivalent in Pulp and Paper / Chemistry/ Biochemistry / Microbiology / Chemical Engineering is a pre-requisite.

Experience:

A minimum of 6 months' relevant technical sales experience in the Pulp & Paper industry will be an advantage.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Accurate chemical application to the pulping and bleaching processes, cooling water systems, liquid solid separation, boiler water systems and other chemical applications as required Laboratory and on-site chemical evaluation related to chemical performance in various processes. Accurate interpretation of chemistry related to all chemical applications 100% continuity of chemical supply, inclusive of deliveries and housekeeping. Strict adherence/compliance with customer standards/ required results, chemical and plant related. Accurate budget and general administration Maintain and improve SHERQ performance to deliver targeted sales at the lowest possible risk to the company.

Requirements:

Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office packages Solid understanding of business systems Advanced writing skills, particularly in technical report writing Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels Highly organized, self-disciplined, and able to manage tasks independently
The successful candidate will be a people-person, practically orientated, able to handle pressure, a problem solver and a team member who is self-motivated.
