Job Description

RPO's client is seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Technical Sales Representative to join their Northern Cape team. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales orientation, solid technical knowledge in hydraulics or pneumatics, and the ability to build strong customer relationships while driving revenue growth in a highly competitive environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
Engage with new and existing clients to assess their technical needs and propose suitable product solutions
Present and promote company products and services, focusing on features that align with customer requirements
Prepare and submit sales quotations, proposals, and contracts, ensuring accuracy in pricing and terms
Negotiate and close sales deals to meet or exceed targets
Maintain accurate customer records using automated systems and ERP tools (Syspro advantageous)
Identify and pursue new business leads through directories, referrals, industry events, and networking
Collaborate with internal teams to share sales strategies, product insights, and client feedback
Provide after-sales support and ensure client satisfaction
Stay updated on technical product knowledge and market trends
Minimum Requirements
Matric certificate
Higher Technical Qualification advantageous
Minimum 3 years' experience in a hydraulics or pneumatics sales environment
Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle
Computer literacy (MS Office); experience with Syspro ERP advantageous
Strong sales ability with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated, results-driven, and customer-focused personality
