An established specialist agricultural company is seeking an experienced and driven Technical Sales Representative to champion their sustainable, integrated pest and disease management solutions in the Grabouw region.
This role is the primary point of contact for clients, acting as the face of the company and its commitment to environmentally conscious farming. The successful candidate will focus on promoting and selling a specialised range of bio-pesticides and biological control products that support effective, sustainable agricultural practices. This position offers competitive compensation, including quarterly commission.
Responsibilities:
Sales and Client Partnership Management
Lead Generation and Conversion: Proactively identify new leads among farmers, cooperatives, and industry stakeholders, developing and executing strategies to convert them into loyal, long-term customers.
Relationship Building: Serve as the primary client contact, building trust-based relationships to ensure repeat business through exceptional customer care, timely follow-ups, and tailored solutions.
Expert Consulting: Conduct thorough field assessments recommend customised, sustainable solutions
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute sales plans for the assigned territory in alignment with business objectives, setting clear goals to establish and grow a diverse client base.
Operational and Reporting Duties
Manage stock in your region to ensure timely product availability -- no shortages, no waste
Report to the Commercial Manager and collaborate closely with technical and distribution teams
