This role focuses on driving sales of valves and automation solutions into the mining sector, with a key focus on territories across Africa. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of industrial sales processes, a technical mindset, and a proactive, strategic approach to developing new business. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on customer engagement, technical consultation, and delivering value-based solutions.Education:
- Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant technical/business field (preferred)
- Sales and marketing certifications (advantageous)
- 35 years experience in technical sales, with a strong focus on valves and actuators
- Proven sales experience within African mining markets.
- Ability to conduct research, identify key decision-makers, and tailor solutions to client needs
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a consultative selling approach
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Deep business acumenxe2x80x94understanding how to align sales efforts with client profitability
- Willingness to travel regularly across African regions
- Valid passport and drivers license
