Technical Sales Engineer
Job Description
This is not your typical sales role. Here, your engineering qualification isn't just a tick-box--it's your most powerful tool. You'll be the key link between technical teams and mining clients, designing tailored solutions that improve production, efficiency, and process flow.
From understanding complex operational needs to presenting high-value engineering proposals, your work will directly shape how clients invest in technology. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in mining, process design, and client strategy, and wants to see their ideas come to life in the field.
Education:
- BTech/Bachelor of Technology in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial)
- Minimum 3 years in a technical sales or application engineering role
- Strong background in mining, mineral processing, or industrial sectors
- Hands-on experience with process design, layouts, or engineering documentation
- Commercial acumen: Comfortable presenting to clients and closing deals
- Exposure to engineering software, MS Office, and client CRM systems
- Willing to travel across regions, including into Africa
- Clear, confident communication -- English essential; French or Portuguese is a bonus
