Job Summary
A leading Poultry and Animal Feed company is looking for an experienced Technical Sales Advisor - Animal Nutrition & Feed with strong experience in the agricultural or feed industry to join their team in Limpopo and North West. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially and technically astute Sales Advisor to drive growth by providing strategic consulting on animal feed products, analysing market data, and building strong relationships with regional customers. If you have experience in the feed space-ideally supported by a qualification in Animal Science-and a highly motivated mindset for building external growth, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:

• Responsible for generating sales that are in line with the business plan.
• Providing technical advice to customers while managing designated regional areas.
• Marketing and sales of bagged and bulk feed products.
• Providing clients with strategic consulting on specialized products.
• Gathering, analysing, and interpreting marketing and sales data.
• Visiting current and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products.
• Developing innovative regional sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
• Displaying a high level of analytical thinking to solve complex problems, including marketing, sales, or site-related issues.
• Providing market intelligence to guide the executive team to make informed marketing, strategy, and pricing decisions.
• Advising customers on best solutions for their businesses.
• Extensive interaction with all departments within the business unit and throughout the supply chain.
• Working within the factory and the specialized business unit.
• Building strong relationships with all external customers.
• Interacting with customers to propose technical solutions and inspire confidence through demonstrated expertise.

Requirements:

• Agricultural Qualification in Animal Science or related qualification.
• 3-5 years of related sales experience in the feed industry or Agri/livestock industry.
• Customer service oriented.
• Ability to work independently.
• Highly motivated individual with an appetite for sales and building external sales and growth.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Assertive and presentable.
• Able to speak English and Afrikaans will be advantageous.
