Job Description

Epol offers animal feeds across most species either in bulk or in bags directly to farmers as well as in bags through a wide network of partner resellers. Feeds are supplied from 6 mills located across South Africa. Epol is now looking for a Technical Sales Advisor.
Purpose:
This role will be responsible for generating sales that's in line with the business plan; providing technical advice to customers and taking care of the North West, Limpopo and Gauteng areas.
Requirements:

• BSc. Agricultural Qualification in Animal Science or related qualification
• 3-5 years of related sales experience in the feed industry or Agri/livestock industry will be an added advantage

• Responsible for marketing and sales of bagged and bulk feed product
• Provide clients with strategic consulting on Animal Feeds Products
• Gathering, analysing and interpreting marketing and sales data
• Visiting current and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products
• Develop innovative regional sales strategies to achieve sales targets
• Display high level of analytical thinking to solve complex problems. Problems can include marketing, sales or farm related issues
• To provide market intelligence to guide the executive team to make informed marketing, strategy and pricing decisions.
• To advise customers on best feed solutions for their businesses
• Extensive interaction with all departments within the Business Unit and extensive interaction with departments within the supply chain. In the factory and within the Animal feed business unit
• To build strong relationships with all external customers
• Interacts with customers to propose feed solution and inspire confidence to customer to show innate technical experience in feed
