QUALIFICATIONS: Engineering or similar degree

EXPERIENCE:

  • Several years progressively responsible experience in a
management/ leadership position
  • Minimum 5 years in an Engineering or Technical
environment & ITC experience
  • Proven track record in delivering complex project success
  • Remote leadership experience
  • Leading and coaching teams
OVERVIEW:

Provide a leadership position in the technical operations department of the organisation, with a
broad oversight of system data and IT systems integration within the technical operations
framework of the business, along with a business quality management input. The position
requires you to monitor technical operational activities to maximize efficiency, productivity, and
profits for the organization as a whole, create budgets, study business forecasts, and analyze
financial data to control maintenance costs while boosting revenue.
The position also requires you to design, control, and manage the technical process and
operational integrity of technological services provided by an organization. It involves
coordinating the operational aspects of a technical process to ensure smooth running of the
business continuity.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Managing all maintenance costs to maximise contractual value while maintaining
technical reliability levels that minimises downtime and potential losses of energy
performance.
? Report into MANCO at a management level
? Determining, negotiating and agreeing on in-house quality procedures, standards and
specifications
? Assessing operational customer requirements and ensuring that these are met with the
appropriate resources and priority
? Setting customer service standards
? Ensuring that on site work complies with standards at both national and international
level for the during and lifecycle of the contract
? Working with operating staff to establish procedures, standards and systems
? Writing management and technical reports
? Determining training needs, budgets and implementation
? Acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and quality
? Directing technical objectives to maximise profitability
? Recording, analysing and distributing statistical information relating to the performance,
reliability and maintenance of the installed base.
? Manage and Monitor the workload, resource loading, KPIs and performance of the
Electricians, Workshop staff and Operations Assistant
? Manage, approve or decline annual and other leave
? Oversee the workshop, its function, purpose and impact and value creation in the business. Reviewing underperforming systems, escalating any problems on systems that may have a negative financial impact on the company's contractual performance.
? Needs to work closely with the Key Account Manager to ensure client satisfaction is met

Responsible for maintaining the technical goals of the company and addressing any
future potential needs. Also responsible for making sure that operational staff are
working within technical guidelines of best practice project management and
operational governance.
? Responsible for ensuring Health and Safety standards are complied with
? Responsible for developing budgets, approving maintenance expenditure and
accountable for variances
? Responsible for appointing and approving maintenance subcontractors to perform
duties such as filter cleaning, air conditioning servicing and fire systems, appropriate for
the site.
? Responsible for ensuring maintenance and repair contractors sign up for and perform
work with a Maintenance SLA
? Create and maintain the best practice standards for technical operations, managing
both the operations process, embracing design, planning, control, performance
improvement, and operations strategy
? Manage the workflow of technicians and electricians with a quality management
oversight.
? Coordinate and participate in projects to design, develop, program, test, install and
maintain technical operations processes that will be chosen for the during of the
contract
? Responsible for ensuring that scheduled maintenance tasks are performed in line with
expectations
? Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing organizational technical
processes from start to finish, with emphasis on strong quality management and
influence.
? Manage stock and procurement
