? Technical Lead - FinTech | Hybrid (Johannesburg / Cape Town)

? Non-Negotiables:

• 6+ years software development experience (2+ years senior/lead)
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• Proven expertise with Python, Java/Kotlin, JavaScript (Vue.js, Node.js), C#, SQL (MySQL & MSSQL)
• Cloud knowledge: AWS (Lambda, EC2, S3, SQS, SNS)
• Microservices & Web API integration experience
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

? Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar (advantageous)
• 6+ years in software development, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams
• Strong SDLC and Agile methodology knowledge

? Requirements

• Solid experience across multiple programming languages: Python, Java/Kotlin, JavaScript (Vue.js, Node.js), C#
• Strong SQL skills (MySQL, MSSQL)
• Cloud-first development with AWS (Lambda, EC2, S3, SQS, SNS)
• Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ, Redis, Kafka
• Experience with Docker, API development, caching, and messaging systems
• Familiarity with GitLab, Atlassian Suite, Postman, IntelliJ, VS Code, MySQL Workbench
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and solution design skills
• Excellent soft skills: communication, facilitation, conflict resolution, stakeholder engagement

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope, timelines, and deliverables

• Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders
