We are seeking a skilled and reliable Technical Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of IT equipment and network devices in factory settings and mobile offices. The ideal candidate will have experience with hardware installation, network cabling, and basic IT troubleshooting. Attention to detail and the ability to follow technical instructions are crucial for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Equipment Installation: Set up and install computers, servers, and peripherals in factory environments and mobile offices.

Network Setup: Install, crimp, and connect network cables and devices such as routers, switches, and access points.

Maintenance and Support: Perform routine maintenance on installed equipment, troubleshoot hardware and network issues, and provide basic IT support to staff.

Configuration: Configure operating systems, software applications, and network settings according to company standards.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, configurations, and maintenance activities.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols during installation and maintenance tasks.

Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure seamless installation and functionality of IT systems.

Qualifications:

Matric or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.

Physical ability to handle installation tasks, including lifting and working in various factory and mobile office environments.

Proven experience in hardware installation and network cabling.

Basic knowledge of IT systems and networking concepts.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
