Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• A Senior Management, Investment Committee, and Deals position with one direct report.
• Leadership of the Technical Business Development Team, overseeing the following deliverables:

• Concept and preliminary designs for solar PV and energy storage projects, including technical solutions, cost, and go-to-market models.
• Preparation of tender and proposal documentation.
• Creation of deal and sales presentations for projects and portfolios.
• Detailed costing of solutions and financial modeling for client presentations.
• Team lead for large-scale Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for utility-scale projects for both utility and private clients.
• Research and Development of new technologies and technical solutions to enhance the overall business offering, including identifying and integrating new technology and developing new solution offerings.
• Attending business development client meetings as a technical expert and sales support to the Business Development Team and Chief Executive Officer.
• Quick resolution of various ad hoc client and internal requests.
• Management of the Master Sales Pipeline File and associated EXCO reporting.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Engineering Degree or equivalent.
• Valid Drivers License and own vehicle.
• National and select Continental Travel required periodically.

Required Skills:

• Strong technical problem-solving skills for client meetings.
• Proficient in Solar PV, Energy, and Storage Modeling (PV Sol Premium, PV Syst, Excel), and understanding of electricity tariff structures.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Highly analytical with attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication skills for presentations and meetings.
• Proficient in Office skills and computer literacy.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Competence in client and team management.
• Strong time management and communication skills.
• Financial literacy with expertise in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint template development.

Experience Required:

• Significant experience in the energy sector, particularly in solar PV and storage.
