Job Description


Purpose:

The Technical Business Analyst and Support 2 Business Consultant role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless alignment between the PaySpace system and our customers' business operations while maintaining world-class support services internally. This multifaceted position combines the responsibilities of a Technical Business Analyst, focusing on system development and application design, with those of a Support 2 Business Consultant, dedicated to implementing best practices and processes for internal customer support and product improvement.

Responsibilities:

Technical Business Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Utilize technology to propose and deliver technical solutions addressing customers' operational challenges and requirements.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal departments to integrate PaySpace with their business operations effectively.
  • Apply best practices in architecture to identify optimal solutions for customers.
  • Draft and communicate Functional and System Integration specifications based on extensive consultation with customers.
  • Conduct solution demonstrations and testing to illustrate real-life functionality.
  • Enhance PaySpace efficiency and security by integrating performance metrics and encryption.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of third-party apps like Power Automate and Power BI to deliver effective technical solutions.
  • Prepare technical reports for internal and customer use when required.
  • Report to management and secure approval for system development projects as needed.
  • Ensure proficiency among end-users.
Support 2 Business Consultant Responsibilities:
  • Review, address, and resolve internal technical support trends to improve knowledge and capability within the organization.
  • Work with operational leads to ensure consistent technical upskilling of teams.
  • Resolve system issues raised by relevant departments and provide coaching to mitigate risk and improve service levels.
  • Research and implement best practice standards to enhance internal customer support.
  • Collaborate with operational managers to identify and implement improvement areas for best-in-class support.
  • Monthly reporting to the Support 2 Business Manager on identified improvement areas and technical system issues.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with the PaySpace Product as a senior Professional Services Senior Consultant.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills applied to understanding business functionality and translating them into technical requirements.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as JAVA.
  • Extensive experience with API testing tools, particularly Postman.
  • Ability to facilitate end-user proficiency.
  • Knowledge of data security and encryption.
  • Commitment to staying abreast of IT advancements.
  • Exceptional communication and consulting skills.
